Governing Body of the Institute has Educationists & Technologists from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; Deptt. of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi; Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Ranchi; BIT Sindri, Dhanbad; Tata Steel Limited, Jamshedpur; & Tata Motors Limited, Jamshedpur; as its Members. The Academic Advisory Body has Principal, Deans & Head of Departments as its Members. They meet quarterly & monthly, respectively. Faculty Members act as Mentors through involvement in the academic affairs of Students. Academic, administration & future decisions are taken in the Meeting of the Principal, Deans & Head of Departments for a democratic Governance. Faculty Members are suggested for improvement in teaching methodology on the feedback of Students. The Principal & Deans co-ordinate for redressing the grievances of Faculty Members & Supporting Staff. The Chief Warden & Wardens join hand to redress the grievances of Students. On special issues, the advice of the Governing Body is invited. A transparent atmosphere exists due to the Internal Quality Assurance Cell for the impartment of quality technical education; Reforming Anti-Ragging Committee; Grievance Redressal Committee; Internal Complaint Committee for gender sensitization & prevention of sexual harassment and SC/ST Committee for prevention of their atrocities.

The fee is in accordance with the Fee Fixation Committee, Deptt. of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi. Waiver in Fee is granted to all Students allotted Tuition Fee Waiver Seat by JCECE Board, Ranchi. Merit Scholarship is offered to students on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2/Intermediate, Rank secured in NTA-JEE (Mains) or in JCECE Board, Ranchi, and on SGPA of previous Semesters. 50% waive-out of Tuition Fee is conferred to Batch Topper & 25% to all Branch Toppers in each Semester. The nominal cost of Boarding & Lodging is realized with added facilities of Outdoor-Indoor Sports & Games, 24 hrs of Electricity & Water supply, Transportation, Wi-Fi Campus, Central Library, Computer Centre & Medical care of the Boarders.
