Training and Placement Cell is a backbone of any institute which is committed to develop dynamism, strong human values technocratic and good leadership qualities as per the need of rapidly changing technology working with a strategy oriented planning.

The Institute has full-fledged T&P Cell to look after training and placement activity, which also provides the official support base for placement of final year students in form of arranging campus interviews, grooming students to face the final test of their knowledge. Our T&P team includes students’ representatives of various disciplines to form the core committee which is headed by the training and placement coordinators of the same department. We are striving hard to fulfill the industry’s requirement and our focus is to groom competent engineers.

We have started grooming our students through training programs and it has been benefited students and the placement has been increased. We equip our students providing Soft Skills, Personality Development, Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview training with right talent and personality to face the industry requirement. By this comprehensive program our students are meeting and satisfying the expectations of the Industry.

Industrial Visits

The T&P Cell in co-ordination with the Departments regularly organize industrial visits to acquire corporate exposure. Industrial Visits & Tours is an integral part of the professional course, during which students visit companies and get insight regarding the internal working environment of a company and how a company functions, as well as useful information related to the practical aspects of the educational course which cannot be visualized in lectures. The industrial visit is considered one of the most tactical methods of teaching. It provides students with an opportunity to learn practically through interaction, working methods, and employment practices. Moreover, it gives exposure from an academic point of view. RVSCET has been very particular in arranging regular Educational Tours for the students. So as to provide all round practical training and exposure to actual industrial practice.

Job Fairs

RVSCET organises Job Fairs each year to provide employment opportunities to the students of other colleges from different states. These are private fairs and in association with the Ministry of HRD, Board of Practical Training (BOPT), Eastern Region. We have placed thousands of non-RVSCET students in good reputed companies.

Summer Training

The Training and Placement Cell arranges mandatory industrial training for students at the end of 4^th semester, and 6^th semester. Each student has to undertake summer training in companies of repute for duration of 6-8 weeks. Students are required to work on projects given to them either by the sponsoring organization or selected by the students themselves. The project report/thesis is an intensive learning exercise for students to apply particular theoretical concepts into practical situations as experienced in an industrial milieu.

Placement

The final placement runs through the course of the final year commencing the last week of August through to May. Pre-Placement talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the T&P Cell.
