RVS College of Engineering and Technology marked the beginning of the academic session 2025–29 with a grand Induction Ceremony, held to welcome the newly admitted students and their parents. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Arun Kumar Mishra, CEO of Modern Power, who inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the commencement of a new academic journey.
Mr. Mishra was warmly felicitated with a shawl and memento by Mr. Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Educational Trust, and Mr. Bharat Singh, Secretary. Sharing the dais were other distinguished dignitaries including Mr. Shatrughan Singh (Treasurer), Mr. Shakti Singh (Executive Member), Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari (Principal), and Dr. Vikram Sharma (Head of the Training and Placement Department).
In his address, Mr. Arun Kumar Mishra emphasized the need for holistic development, encouraging students to not only focus on academics but also acquire modern technological skills, language proficiency, and practical knowledge—key ingredients for success in today’s dynamic and competitive world.
Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh assured the students and parents that the college has taken all necessary measures to provide the best possible academic environment and infrastructure. He urged students to focus on their education and assured them of continuous support from the administration. He also encouraged them to approach the Principal, Dean, or Heads of Departments in case of any concerns or issues.
Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh stressed the importance of discipline on campus, stating that any form of misbehavior towards faculty or senior students would be strictly dealt with. He reiterated the institution’s commitment to student welfare, provided students uphold the values and decorum of the college.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Surya Bahadur, extending greetings to all students and parents present. Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students for choosing RVS College. He assured them of the college’s unwavering dedication to their academic growth and career placement. Additionally, he requested parents to refrain from sending their children on private vehicles due to the current poor condition of the nearby highway, prioritizing student safety.
