We encourage our new students to showcase their unique talents and passions, whether it's through talent shows, music performances, or skits. Freshers Day is a day of discovery, where hidden talents find their stage, and potential flourishes. Freshers Day is a day filled with exciting activities, interactive ice-breaking sessions, team-building exercises, and thrilling games, competitions, and performances.

Frolic is an annual inter departmental sports fest of RVS College of Engineering & Technology, Jamshedpur. It is a three day sports festival featuring the students of the institute across ten events to become the undisputed departmental champion. These events help the students to build their physical, mental and team work capabilities.

The inaugural day of this fest includes the opening of the fest with the unique flying balloons and pom pom dance. The quarter finals of the various events are played on the first day.

The second day catches speed and the exciting do or dies semi finals are played on this day. The indoor events also are winded up on the second day.

The final day includes the eye catching athletics, most anticipated tug of war and the finals of the various outdoor events.

Provenance is an annual Techno musical fest of RVS College of Engineering & Technology, Jamshedpur. It is a three day festival featuring technical events, music and dance.

The multiple technical and cultural events, competitions and celebrity performances boost the confidence level of the students. They help in building their managerial skills and prepare them for the real world.The highlights of day one are gully cricket, solo singing, scintillating band performances, code cracking, techie quizzes.

The day two includes the most loved BGMI event, robo race, robo soccer, paper dance, ramp walk and most anticipated DJ night.

The finale day includes the rocking dance events, finals of gully cricket, rangoli, face painting and most awaited celebrity night.

RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur in collaboration with Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region (BOPT-ER) organises a two day apprenticeship cum job mela every year.

Around 40 companies participate to recruit students for apprenticeship.

Around 1000 students across Jharkhand, Bihar participate in this job mela.
