About the Department

The Department of Electrical Engineering at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, offers a Diploma program focused on developing strong practical skills and industry readiness in electrical systems and applications. The program provides a solid foundation in essential areas such as electrical circuits, power systems, control systems, basic electronics, and renewable energy technologies.

The department provides exposure to electrical panels, substation, and power distribution systems, as well as basic PLC and industrial automation training, enabling students to understand real-world applications and safety practices.
