The practical knowledge, which is an important part of a technical education, can be achieved by well equipped Computer Laboratory. The Computer Laboratory is a basic component of the Institute’s infrastructure, providing a wide range of support to the students and faculties involved in research and other academic activities. The Laboratories provides the hands-on need of today’s industry requirements and what they learn in the classrooms. All students have various Computer Science papers in their courses. The Computer Science & Engineering department is equipped with eight laboratories with over 520 Personal Computers available for conducting laboratory sessions. New and updated softwares as well as equipments are regularly incorporated in laboratories to give students an added advantage.The wide range of softwares to learn programming languages such as C, C++, Java, BASIC, MATLAB, Rational Rose, ORACLE etc. is installed on computers. All the laboratories are internally networked allowing students to learn the harnessing capabilities of a network and also to remotely access resources at any point of time. Apart from central library departmental Library is an integral part of CSE department. It was started with acquisitions of curriculum text books to serve students as well as faculty members. Objective of library is to support in fulfilling the information need of parent institute, build and preserve collection of specialized literature in computer science field. It has been functioning under the supervisory of Library advisory committee constituted by the head of the department.
