RVS College of Engineering & Technology celebrated its 24th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and pride under the guidance of the Chairman of RVS Educational Trust, Hon’ble Mr. Binda Singh. The occasion was graced by the presence of Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Governing Body Member Mr. Shakti Singh, Distinguished Guest Mr. Ram Shiromani Singh, Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, and Training & Placement Head Dr. Vikram Sharma.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and excellence. Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari welcomed the guests by presenting them with saplings as a gesture of respect and sustainability.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh reflected on the remarkable 24-year journey of the institution. He highlighted that RVS College has established a distinct identity in the fields of education, discipline, and quality. He emphasized that the institution is committed not only to developing technically skilled professionals but also to nurturing strong moral values among students. On this occasion, he formally entrusted the responsibility of the new Director of the college to Mr. Shatrughna Singh and extended his congratulations.
Distinguished Guest Mr. Ram Shiromani Singh conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the students, faculty members, and staff on the occasion of the college’s 24th anniversary.
In his welcome address, Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari congratulated all dignitaries, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students. He highlighted the institution’s glorious journey over the past 24 years, acknowledging the challenges faced and successfully overcome through teamwork, dedication, and collective efforts. He expressed gratitude to the college management for its continuous support and encouragement.
Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh remarked that RVS College of Engineering & Technology has evolved into a reputed and trusted educational institution. Recalling its humble beginnings with only a few students and teachers, he noted that the college has grown into a strong and flourishing institution. He reaffirmed the management’s commitment to infrastructure development and academic excellence. He further stated that the college considers its employees as respected members of the RVS family and appreciates their dedication and contribution to the institution’s growth.
A special highlight of the celebration was the exhibition of innovative student projects developed by various departments. The projects showcased included:
- Real-Time Display of Environmental Parameters of RVSCET
- Serving Robot
- Electric Cycle
- Solar Air Cooler
- Aromatic Shoe Cleaner
- Fabrication of Elevator Lift Safety Mechanism
- Anti-Slip Alarm for Driver
The projects received immense appreciation from the dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and students for their innovation and practical applications. Certificates were distributed to the students and project guides associated with these projects in recognition of their efforts and achievements.
As part of the celebrations, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh and other dignitaries cut a commemorative cake and distributed sweets among all attendees, adding joy to the occasion.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of Training & Placement. The National Anthem marked the formal conclusion of the program. The stage proceedings were skillfully conducted by Dr. Sudhir Das.
The successful organization of the event was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Dr. Sushant Mohanty, Dr. Rekha Tiwari, Mr. Thakur Pranav Kumar Gautam, Prof. Smita Das, Dr. D.K. Haldar, Mr. Rajeev Srivastava, Prof. Monolisa Bhadrak, and many other faculty and staff members. Sweet packets were distributed to all participants after the program, making the celebration memorable for everyone.
