A workshop on “Raising Capital and Managing Finance for Startups” was successfully organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology under the aegis of the IQAC Cell by the BCA and MCA departments. The program witnessed the gracious presence of distinguished academicians including Prof. Ishwar Rao and Prof. Swaroop Kumar Mishra as special guests. The keynote speakers for the workshop were Mr. Fahad Mehmood and Mr. Anas Khan, who shared valuable insights on startup financing and entrepreneurial growth. The guests were warmly welcomed by Prof. Smita Das with saplings as a gesture of appreciation and sustainability. During the session, Mr. Fahad Mehmood elaborated on various methods of raising capital, including bootstrapping, government grants, bank loans, angel investment, and crowdfunding, while also highlighting the importance of financial planning and resource management for startups. Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari emphasized that such workshops provide students with practical exposure and help them develop innovative approaches to overcome professional challenges. Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh encouraged students to actively participate in such knowledge-enhancing programs organized for their overall development. The event was attended by Prof. Jeevan Kumar, Prof. Prabhat Purushottam, Dr. Shamsher Alam, Prof. Deepak Tiwari, along with a large number of enthusiastic students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Prof. Yogendra Kumar, who stressed the importance of student participation in such workshops for academic and professional growth.
