RVS College of Engineering & Technology proudly inaugurated its state-of-the-art PLC & Automation Lab, marking a significant milestone in advancing technical education and industry-relevant training. The lab was inaugurated jointly by Shri Binda Singh, Chairman, RVS Education Trust, and Directors of ETPL, Pune, Shri Rahul Bait and Shri Avinash Kumar, in a ceremonious event chaired by Shri Binda Singh.

Present on the occasion were Shri Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer of RVS Education Trust, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Principal of the College, Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of Training and Placement, and Prof. T.P.K. Gautam, Head of the EEE Department. As a gesture of warm hospitality, all dignitaries were welcomed with saplings. The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in skill-based learning.

Chairman Shri Binda Singh and Treasurer Shri Shatrughan Singh honored the guests from ETPL with shawls and mementos. Dr. Vikram Sharma delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event. In his keynote speech, Shri Rahul Bait, Director of ETPL, emphasized the importance of automation and the role this lab will play in providing hands-on training and enhancing student employability in core industrial sectors.

Following the inauguration, a three-day training session for students is being held from 22nd to 24th September 2025, aimed at familiarizing them with cutting-edge automation tools and PLC systems. To further support student career development, a placement drive for final-year students is scheduled on 25th September 2025.

The program was smoothly conducted and coordinated by Dr. Sudhir Jha, ensuring the event’s success and impactful execution.
