The Industry Academia Meet-2025 was organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology. Jamipol’s Managing Director, Svastika Basu, was present as the chief guest. Distinguished guests included RKF L’s CHRO Shri Bhupendra Lodhi and Fleetguard’s Plant Head, Shri Uday Shankar Sharma. The program began with the lighting of the lamp. The participating guests were honored by RVS Educational Trust’s Secretary Shri Bharat Singh, Treasurer Shri Shatrughna Singh, and Governing Body Member Shri Shakti Singh, who presented them with shawls and mementos. Other guests included Rozatech’s Shri Piyush Kumar, Zenith Forge’s HR Head Shri Sanjeev Anand Chaudhary, and Ultratech Cement’s HR Shri Shayak Chakraborty, who were also honored with mementos. In his welcome address, Associate Professor of Chemistry and Head of Training and Placement, Dr. Vikram Sharma, shed light on the importance of Industry Academia Meet 2025. In his address, Secretary Shri Bharat Singh welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude, praising them for enlightening the students with their valuable thoughts on innovation and its importance. Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari urged the students to make the most of this opportunity while remaining resilient and hardworking. Chief Guest and Jamipol Managing Director Svastika Basu said that change is a truth in our lives, and in this process of change, we must move forward. In the future, to meet the needs of human life, we must advance through innovation to adapt to new situations. Our coming generations will need to be critical and analytical in nurturing their ideas. Whether it’s digital literacy or sustainability, they must progress with a spirit of teamwork. Shri Uday Shankar Sharma stated that we should build our mindset in such a way that we can face new challenges every day. Shri Bhupendra Lodhi said that we must transform our imaginations into reality, for which hard work, knowledge, and determination are essential. After the inaugural session, three technical sessions were organized. The first session was moderated by the college’s Global Head, Ms. Shipra Singh. This session featured Lexmark India’s Recruitment Lead Shri Anurag Kirti and TEXMiN’s Senior Manager Shri Devashish Chatterjee. The discussion topic was employment, entrepreneurship, and workplace development. The second session was moderated by student Priyanshu. The topic of discussion was the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence in every sphere of life. Speakers included Amalgam Steel and Power Limited’s Senior General Manager – HR Shri RN Prasad, Automotive Excel Limited’s Executive Manager (HR & IR) Shri Naveen Shami, Adrika Enterprises’ COO Kavita Kaushik, and BOPT-ER Kolkata’s Special Officer Shri Mustafizur Rahman. The third session’s topic was the role of alumni in building traditions and the importance of innovation in the institution’s progress. Speakers included BIT Sindri’s Assistant Professors Dr. Rahul Kumar and Dr. Om Prakash. College student Adarsh Sahib Singh played the role of moderator. After each session, a question-and-answer round took place, where inquisitive students asked questions, which were answered by the panel speakers. The program concluded with a valedictory session. Students Aparna and Aditi proposed thanks to all participating guests, college students, and organizing committee members, and they also conducted the stage proceedings.
