Freshers’ Day 2025 at RVS College of Engineering and Technology was celebrated with great pomp and show in the dignified presence of Shri Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Educational Trust. The college principal, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, and Associate Professor of Chemistry as well as Head of Training and Placement, Dr. Vikram Sharma, welcomed Chairman Shri Binda Singh, Secretary Shri Bharat Singh, Treasurer Shri Shatrughna Singh, and Governing Body Member Shri Shakti Singh by presenting them with sapling on the stage. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by the esteemed guests. Principal Prof. Tiwari welcomed the guests and shed light on the college’s long tradition of celebrating Freshers’ Day and its importance. He said that the start of higher education is a significant event that students remember throughout their life. The sky is open before the students, and they can take as high a leap in the field of education as they wish. I wish you success in the coming times. In his address, Secretary Shri Bharat Singh told all the students enrolled in the college this year, This is truly a new beginning in your life. This is the time when you choose different courses of study to build your future, which establishe your golden life tomorrow. But this is only possible when you study and develop skills with full dedication and honesty. The college management is always ready to make all arrangements for your studies and skill development. March forward with full confidence and this is my blessing. After the inaugural session, a series of colorful programs ensued, continuing until late evening. The participants presented various types of performances, listed as follows: Classical Dance – Advita, Solo Song – Dhruvraj, Group Dance – 7 Slayers, Solo Dance – Sneha Mandal, Jamming – Newly Enrolled Students, Nagpuri Dance – Traditional Boys, Solo Song – Vaishnavi Jha, Group Dance – Apex Crew, Skit – Operation Sindoor Shayari – Srishti Pathak, Group Dance – V – Unbeatable, Skit – Horror Comedy, Group Dance – Bhangra Groovers, Group Dance – Comedian Snails-2, Ramp Walk – Qualifiers. The main attraction of the program was the competitive selectin of Mr. and Miss Freshers of RVS college. After going through several rounds of the competitive process, first-year students Sagar Pratik Indwar and Anchal Kumari were awarded the titles of Mr. and Miss RVS. Recently, winners of the Statesathon organized as per AICTE directives – Rishiraj, Amarnath, Ayush Edwin, Anurag Banerjee, Anas Ahmad, Syed Farhan Ali, Mohd. Kaif Ansari, Mohd. Yasin, Mohd. Hussain Raza and successful participants in the competition held on Engineers’ Day – Sania Ali, Angad Kumar Sharma, Gautam Kumar Pramanik, Pragati Narayan, and Ekta Kumari – were presented with certificates by the platform guests. Prof. Thakur Pranav Kumar Gautam Head of the EEE Department, assisted in the certificate distribution. At the conclusion of the program, Treasurer Shri Shatrughna Singh said that organizing such events awakens new energy in students. The way the children conducted this program was a pleasant experience. Praising all members of the organizing committee, he congratulated and expressed gratitude to them for successfully conducting the event under their supervision. The stage was compered by students Rishiraj, Shubhra Kumari, Amarnath, Jainav, Jishan, and Pallavi.
