An informative energy awareness training program was organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of energy conservation and sustainable practices. The event featured distinguished speakers and trainers, including Shri Arvindam Ghosh, Ms. Jaya Singh, and Ms. Srishti Katore, all from RSB Transmission. Their expertise and insights played a crucial role in educating the attendees on how energy conservation directly impacts our daily lives and the environment.

The program commenced with a warm welcome by the college’s principal, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, who greeted the guests by presenting them with saplings, symbolizing the commitment to environmental sustainability. Dr. Vikram Sharma, the Head of Training and Placement (T&P) at the college, gave an introductory speech, formally introducing the guests to the audience and setting the stage for the event.

Ms. Jaya Singh started the session by emphasizing the importance of energy conservation, explaining why it is essential to adopt energy-efficient practices in our lives. As the chief trainer, Shri Arvindam Ghosh expanded on this theme, explaining that modern life would be unimaginable without energy. He discussed the various methods of energy generation, its efficient usage, and how renewable energy plays a significant role in reducing our carbon footprint. Furthermore, he underscored the urgent need to address the challenges of global warming and the steps we can take to mitigate its effects.

The training consisted of a detailed presentation covering 12 modules on energy conservation, renewable energy sources, and how individuals and industries can contribute to saving energy. At the conclusion of the program, successful participants who actively engaged in the training were awarded certificates, recognizing their commitment to learning about energy conservation. Dr. Vikram Sharma concluded the event by expressing his gratitude to the trainers, guests, and students for their valuable participation in making the program a success. The program not only helped raise awareness but also inspired students to adopt sustainable practices in their personal and professional lives.
