December 6th, 2023, marked an informative and enriching experience for the +2 students from RVS Academy, Dimna. The college welcomed the students with Professor Sushant Mohanty expressing that the tour would be beneficial in helping them choose their future careers.

During the visit, the students learned about various courses offered by the college, including B.Tech, M.tech, B.B.A., B.C.A., MCA, and Diploma in Engineering. Professor Jeevan Kumar, the career counselor, took the students on a tour of the college’s departments and explained the practical aspects of each field, helping the students understand their potential career paths.

Emphasizing the significance of such excursions, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, the College Principal, underscored that students occasionally encounter difficulties in selecting the appropriate field and, as a consequence, may need to discontinue their studies. Encouraging the students, he stressed the significance of making informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

Shri Shatrughan Singh, the treasurer of the college, pointed out that with a college equipped with modern instruments and facilities available in their own city, there is no need for students to go to another city or state for education.

The trip was organized under the leadership of school teachers Ms. Savyasachi Kundu, Mr. Shiv Narayan Kar, along with teachers Mr. Dheeraj Kaur and Ms. Usha Tiwari. Overall, it seems like the students had a valuable experience exploring potential educational and career paths during their visit to RVS Engineering College and Technology.
