A blood donation camp was organized with great enthusiasm and meticulous planning at RVS College of Engineering & Technology, Jamshedpur. The event was formally inaugurated by the esteemed Chairman of the college management, Mr. Binda Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh, Governing Body Member Mr. Shakti Singh, and Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, who collectively lit the ceremonial lamp, marking the start of this noble initiative. The event received generous financial backing from HDFC Bank, while the Lions Club of Jamshedpur Bharat partnered as a co-organizer to ensure its success. Representatives from HDFC Bank, including Cluster Head Saurabh Kumar, Manager Santosh Ranjan, and Sahil Singh, graced the event alongside distinguished members of the Lions Club, such as Regional President Navneet Chaudhary, Treasurer Saurabh Anand, Vineet Srivastava, Rajesh Singh, Shambhu Gorai, and Dr. B. V. K. Chaudhary from MGM Hospital, along with Raghav Kumar.
The Chairman of the Trust, Mr. Binda Singh, emphasized the profound significance of blood donation, describing it as the greatest gift that directly saves lives. He highlighted that RVS College has been steadfastly organizing blood donation camps for the past 15 years, with unwavering support from students and staff, making it a proud tradition. Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh applauded the dedication of students and staff who, as in previous years, ensured the remarkable success of this year’s camp. Notably, a total of 141 units of blood were collected this year, which he described as a matter of immense pride for the college community.
