RVS College of Engineering and Technology ushered in the new academic session for the batch 2025–2029 with a grand and ceremonious Induction Program held on campus. The event was marked by enthusiasm, pride, and inspiration as newly admitted students and their parents gathered to begin this important chapter in their academic journey.

The ceremony was inaugurated by the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Arun Kumar Mishra, CEO of Modern Power, who graced the occasion with his presence. He officially inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom.

Mr. Mishra was warmly felicitated with a shawl and a memento by Chairman Mr. Binda Singh and Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, in a gesture of respect and gratitude for his valuable time and insights.

The program commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Surya Bahadur, who extended a heartfelt greeting to all the freshers and their families. The presence of parents and guardians added grace and warmth to the event, signifying their trust in the institution.

In his keynote address, Mr. Arun Kumar Mishra emphasized that while academic excellence is crucial, students must also focus on developing technological proficiency, soft skills, communication abilities, and hands-on practical knowledge to succeed in today’s competitive and evolving landscape. He encouraged students to embrace learning beyond textbooks and become contributors to the vision of a “New India.”

Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh reassured the students that all necessary facilities and infrastructure have been put in place for their academic and personal growth. He encouraged students to approach the Principal, Dean, or their respective Heads of Departments without hesitation in case of any challenges, and urged them to remain focused on their goals and make their families and the college proud.

Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh stressed the importance of maintaining discipline and mutual respect on campus. He stated that any misconduct, especially towards seniors or faculty, would be dealt with strictly. He assured students of the college’s unwavering support as long as they adhere to institutional values and discipline.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari expressed his sincere gratitude to the students and parents for choosing RVS College. He reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to providing a holistic educational experience, industry-aligned training, and strong placement support. He also made a special request to parents, advising them not to send their children on private vehicles due to the current poor condition of the highway near the campus.

The induction ceremony concluded on a gracious note with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sudhir Jha, who acknowledged the efforts of all organizing members and expressed appreciation for the participation of students and their families.

The event marked a promising start for the batch of 2025–29, inspiring students to aim high and make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead at RVS College of Engineering and Technology.
