RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, inaugurated its three-day techno-cultural fest Provenance 5.0 on May 9, 2025, in a grand ceremony chaired by Shri Binda Singh, President of RVS Educational Trust. The chief guest was Shri Samir Mohanty, Hon’ble MLA of Baharagora. The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by dignitaries including Mrs. Parvati Pal (Vice President, Switching AVO Electropower Ltd.), Secretary Shri Bharat Singh, Treasurer Shri Shatrughana Singh, Executive Member Shri Shakti Singh, T&P Head Dr. Vikram Sharma, and Fest Convener Dr. Sushant Mahanti. Guests were felicitated with shawls and mementos. In his address, Dr. Vikram Sharma highlighted the institution’s achievements over the past 20 years. Mrs. Parvati Pal praised the college’s academic standards and noted her company’s regular recruitment from the institution. Secretary Shri Bharat Singh emphasized the Trust’s commitment to holistic education in the region. Chief guest Shri Samir Mohanty lauded the college’s infrastructure and discipline and assured full support. Day 1 featured a wide array of technical and cultural events, including Robo Race, Coding Conquest, Volleyball, Football, Arm Wrestling, Balloon Pop, Reel Making, Photography, PC Games, Paper Dance, Rangoli, Street Reloaded, Step into Spotlight (Solo Singing), Jingle Bells (Duo Singing), and a dazzling Ramp Walk. Students from RVS Academy, Women’s College, and Al-Kabir Polytechnic also participated. RVSCET students managed the event exceptionally well. The fest will conclude with a Celebrity Night featuring singer Mohammad Irfan.
