A two-day IEEE International Conference on the theme “Recent Trends in Computer Science & Technology” commenced with great academic fervor at RVS College of Engineering & Technology. The prestigious conference was inaugurated in the august presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand and Chancellor, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by several eminent dignitaries and academicians from India and abroad. Distinguished guests on the dais included Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University, Nepal, Prof. Dr. Ved Raj K.C., and Dean of MIT–ADT University, Pune, Dr. Ganesh R. Pathak. Also present were Shri Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Educational Trust; Shri Bharat Singh, Secretary; Shri Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer; Shri Shakti Singh, Governing Body Member; and Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari. Nearly a dozen renowned scholars participated in the conference as session chairs and keynote speakers.

Upon the arrival of the Hon’ble Governor, the programme began with the National Anthem, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, formally inaugurating the conference. The Chief Guest was welcomed with a bouquet by the Secretary, Shri Bharat Singh, and felicitated with a shawl and memento by the Chairman, Shri Binda Singh. Other dignitaries were also honored in a similar manner by members of the management committee, the Principal, and senior faculty members.

In his welcome address, Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari warmly welcomed all the guests and elaborated on the significance of the conference theme. He expressed pride in sharing that this is the sixth international conference being jointly organized by IEEE and RVS College of Engineering & Technology.

Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Governor Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar emphasized the need for substantial development in the education sector of Jharkhand. He urged universities, colleges, and educators to make sincere efforts toward providing quality education, innovation, and skill development. Praising the initiatives taken under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he highlighted the growing focus on innovation and skills in education and appreciated the management for organizing the international conference.

On this occasion, Secretary Shri Bharat Singh highlighted the journey of the RVS institutions over the past 24 years, noting the successful establishment of RVS College of Engineering & Technology, RVS Academy, and RVS International School. He proudly mentioned that alumni of these institutions are serving in prestigious organizations in India and abroad, including administrative, finance, and police services. He expressed confidence that the conference would generate innovative ideas and meaningful academic outcomes.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ved Raj K.C. spoke about the conference theme and emphasized the strong social and cultural bonds between India and Nepal. The session proceedings were conducted by Dr. Sudhir Jha. At the time of release, both online and offline technical sessions were being conducted successfully as part of the conference.
