A workshop on software development was organized today at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, aimed at providing students with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of technology. This event was hosted by the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) department in collaboration with Helix Infotech. The program was graced by Mr. Prateek Tiwari, a distinguished software engineer currently working at Microsoft, who served as the chief guest.

The event began with a traditional Saraswati Vandana, followed by a warm felicitation of Mr. Tiwari. Dr. Vikram Sharma, the Head of the Training and Placement Department, presented the chief guest with a shawl and a memento as a token of appreciation.

In his address, Mr. Tiwari introduced himself and delved into the importance of emerging technologies. He shared his expertise on various topics such as web and app development, testing and automation, machine learning, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, explaining their applications and impact in the modern software industry.

Dr. Vikram Sharma also emphasized the need for students to be well-versed in these technologies, stressing that lacking knowledge in these areas could lead to rejection during recruitment by top companies. The program was skillfully hosted by Prof. Deepak Tiwari, with significant contributions from Prof. Pranshu Sinha, Prof. Akanksha Dhanjal, Prof. Kunal Sarkar, Prof. Moni Mandal, and Prof. Dr. Subhash Adhikari. The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rekha Tiwari.
