A group of 48 students from RVS College of Engineering and Technology, comprising mainly of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering students, embarked on an educational visit today to the Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) located in the Adityapur industrial area. The visit, organized under the guidance of Prof. Surendra Lader and Prof. Ramswaroop, aimed to provide the students with an opportunity to explore real-world industrial environments. Upon arrival at IDTR, the students were taken on an informative tour of the Incubation Center, where they learned about the innovative processes and cutting-edge technologies being utilized. One of the key aspects of the tour was a safety demonstration, highlighting the importance of taking necessary precautions while working with machines in such an environment. The students were introduced to a special protective glove designed to prevent hand injuries, an essential item for those working with heavy machinery. In addition to the tour of the Indo Danish Tool Room, the group visited the ongoing Mega Industrial and Engineering Expo at the nearby Auto Cluster. This provided the students with a deeper insight into the latest industrial technologies and developments in the engineering sector. Overall, the visit proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students, enriching their academic knowledge with practical industry exposure.
