Jamshedpur: 14.12.2023 – A one day workshop on Invention Procedures and Intellectual Property Rignt was organised at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur. This workshop was organised by the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of the College. Dr. Karmkar Patra, the Director, Rourkela Institute of Management Studies, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, HOD, ECE Deptt. welcomed the Chief Guest by presenting bouquet to him. The Chief Guest and the Principal of the College, Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

In this address the Chief Guest, Dr. Patra analysed how invention and innovative ways change the teaching quality. People working in the academic sector will have to associate themselves with latest explorations in the area, he added. The Treasurer of the College Mr. Shatrughna Singh expressing his pleasure on the programme said that this kind of events would inspire and motivate the teachers and the students alike to work with this pursuit. Prof. Tiwari requested all the faculty members to contribute academics with writing papers and other such academic work. In the programme, apart from ECE Head, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Associate Dean (Academics) Dr. Sharat Chandra Mahato, Associate Dean (Administration) Prof. Krishna Murari, Prof. Sushant Mohanty, Prof. Deepak Kumar, all HODs and faculty members were present.
