Jamshedpur: December 12 – ‘Prarambh’, the Fresher’s Day of 2023 batch was organised at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur. The program was inaugurated with lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Uday Shankar Sharma, Plant Head Flitguard Filters Pvt. Ltd.  The Programme was presided over by the Chairman of the College Mr. Binda Singh. The special guest  Mr. Surjeet Panda, HR Head, Flitguard Filters Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Birendra Yadav, Production Incharge, Flitguard Filters Pvt. Ltd., the Treasurer of the College Mr. Shatrughan Singh, the Executive member Mr. Shakti Singh, the Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari and others were present. Addressing all the guests and students, Shri Uday Shankar Sharma advised students to make books their friends because there can be no better friend and means to shape the future. Shri Shatrughan Singh said in his address that he was very happy to see the new students. We want when they go to work after studying in this college, their parents and the college should feel proud of them, he added. The Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari said that all the students should complete their studies in suitable manner so they get full benefit of the facilities available in the college. It depends on them how much they take advantage of these facilities. He said that they would become the owner of a good personality only when they are disciplined. After that, the students of 2022 batch welcomed the students of 2023 in the program “Prarambh – 2023”. They presented a colourful program. First group dance was performed by Jyoti and Pushkar Group. Solo songs were performed by Roshan and Uttam. In the later course of the programme Jamming, Ramp Walk, Lazy Group Dance and selection of Mr. and Miss Freshers took place Uttam Kujur (CSE) was elected Mr. Fresher and Shruti Kumari (BCA) Miss Fresher. At the end of the program, Dr. Vikram Sharma proposed the vote of thanks to the esteemed guests and the organizing committee members: Dr. Rekha Tiwari, Professor Sushant Mahanty, Professor Jeevan Kumar, Professor T.P.K. Gautam, Dr. S.P. Singh, Dr. Surya Bahadur, Dr. Subrato Mahato, Dr. Sudhir Jha, Prof. Amit Sinha etc.
