Jamshedpur: February 22 – A two-day Job fair going on from yesterday at RVS College of Engineering and Technology ended today. Assistant Director of Board of Practical Training, Mr. K. Chandramouli and Head of Training and Placement Department of the college, Dr. Vikram Sharma said through a press release that this Job Fair organized in collaboration with BOPT was successful. On the first day of this Job Fair, 33 companies got their stalls allotted, while on the second day its number increased to 37. 587 participants had registered in different companies available in this fair. It would be timely to mention here that BOPT is an organization associated with the Ministry of Higher Education of the Government of India and this organization organizes such Job Fairs across the country through which unemployed youth get skill development and employment. Shri Chandramouli said that such a large number of participants participating in this fair tells the story of its success. Treasurer of RVS Educational Trust, Shri Shatrughna Singh, while speaking on the success of this fair, said that it is our endeavor to provide every kind of assistance to such events. Thanking Mr. Chandramouli, he said that with your cooperation, such a fair has been organized six times in our campus. I appreciate your commitment. College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari wished success to all the participants. Coordinators Dr. Shantimay Mandal, Prof. Abhishek Kumar, Prof. Abhilash Ghosh, Devjeet Sadhu, Gurudev Gop and BOPT’s Mushtafizur Rahman, Md. Sikandar, Akash Ganguly and Avinesh Mishra played a big role in organizing this fair.
