Jamshedpur: March 22- World Water Day 2024 was celebrated at RVS College of Engineering and Technology. The program started with a welcome address by Dr. Vikram Sharma,  the T & P head. In his address, he also discussed the present scenario across the world regarding water and its importance. Prof. Shadan Bashar, Asst. Prof., MCA shared her views on the water crisis and what measures are required to be taken to overcome the crisis. Disha Sah and Sweety Kumari of the BCA Department gave a presentation on Water Crisis Management. Anupama Kumari of the same department assisted them on the Dias.

 

The Honourable Treasurer of RVS Educational Trust Mr. Shatrughan Singh appreciated this programme and said water conservation is very important for every kind of life. We properly take care of water conservation in the campus. Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, the principal of the college, congratulated the organizing committee members for organizing the program. Along with Mr. Singh and Prof. Tiwari, Administrative Dean Prof. Krishna Murari and Dr. Surya Bahadur, HOD, Science and Humanities were present on the Dias.

 

Prof. Subrat Mahato and Prof. Anita Giri successfully organized the program with the help of other members. All HODs, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and students took part in the program.
